24 intense hours.
11 hours of driving and 1,5 hours of sleep. Back home, I’m exhausted, but beyond proud of what we accomplished as a team. We worked perfectly together. Everyone from the physiotherapist to the chef to the engineers helped me to perform at my best.
We finished P3 in Silver class after we ran out of luck in the morning. Our splitter disintegrated and we had to stop in the box for 12 minutes. We kept on pushing and in the end we were running the same pace as the top 10 overall even with the sustained damages. Goes to show what could have been.
For now, I want to say thank you. Thank you to the team for bringing all these amazing people together who give everything, thank you to my teammates for their amazing efforts and most importantly thank you to my partners for making this all happen.
I will keep my head up and focus on ever improving.

The most challenging race of my life.
Called in to drive the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 at the 24H of Nürburgring at 10 PM the night before the weekend started. Went to the track early in the morning to do all the administrative checks and to get to know the car and the car. Got 5 laps in in practice and the most difficult endurance race in the world was already around the corner. In the meantime I had gotten really sick since wednesday and I knew this was going to be tough.
I got into the car for my first hours in the race at 20:30. It started pouring down but we decided to go through the stint on slicks. It was extremely tricky as the conditions of the track weren’t the same along the circuit and changed lap by lap and the thick fog surely didn’t make it any easier. I made my way up through the field and was battling with the top of the grid to eventually unlap our car. When I got out of the car after 3 hours I was lucky to have @reneoudman by my side as I could not walk to the truck on my own anymore. I was exhausted.
Looking back on this absurd weekend with a smile on my face. Got to push the limits on the Nordschleife again and met some great new people to help me do that! I want to especially thank Franz Konrad for trusting me to drive his car in the most important race of the year.
Thanks Green Hell, until next time!

First time flying a Lamborghini today, was fun. 🫨
Not so much running unfortunately with only 5 laps on the board for me in this car but nevertheless I feel confident and I’m excited to say the least for the most extreme 24H race in the world tomorrow!
Lights will go green at 16:00 CET! 💚

BACK AT THE @24hnbr 💚
Yesterday at 10 pm I was just heading off to bed when I got a call. I got asked if I would like to drive a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 at the 24H of Nürburgring. Ofcourse, I said yes. 🤣 Drove away half an hour later with all my stuff packed and arrived at the ring at 2 am.
Got on track at 9 am to meet the crew and get to know the car. Now I’m about to head out for the first proper time in the car in Qualifying 2 at 8 pm today.
I’m absolutely stoked to drive the best race in the world again. Thanks to @konrad_motorsport for their trust. 🙏🏼
