About Colin

Race history

The beginning...

Being a 3rd generation race enthusiast, Colin accompanied his father Roman Caresani and grandfather Kees Kooij to the tracks at the  early age of 4 years old. Their passion for historic racing rubbed off and this is where Colins passion for car racing developed.

As a nine year old, he joined in the club races at Kartcentrum Lelystad. From there on 2-takt karting (micromax, minimax and max junior), competing both national and international.

In 2019 he made his car racing debut in the Dutch Ford Fiesta Cup and  HARC NK ’82-’90. Since then things went fast –  literally and figuratively. 2023 marks his debut in the Nürburgring Langstrecke Serie and the 24H NBR, the most infamous, exciting and difficult endurance race in the world.
